Leveraging your own network even in a smaller community is probably the best bet for you at least while getting started. Talking to your friends and family that know you really well and bouncing things off of them for me praying about it was a huge part of that decision. Just go for it and just realize that the worst that can happen is you decide okay this isn't for me either, then you cross that one off the list and move on to the next.
