Museum of modern art in monot, New York has a new exhibition showing works by African-American artists. Among them is an extraordinary painting by henry erso at tannner who's an african-american artist. In the midst of the great depression it seemed that apparently americans needed their mother at that moment and she becomes a kind of universal mother. She travels across all the way to the west coast and then back to new york now in your exhibition you're showing it alongside other depictions of mothers.
