The flu is when you have a fever. You might be like, when your body gets really hot and cold and back and forth like that. The sniffles are when you're constantly trying to get rid of mucus or snot running down your nose. Your body hurts in general. So it feels like you got hit by your truck. But that was actually dengue. That wasn't a normal flu.
