The UNDP and Climate Change
The UNDP was created in 1965, much before we thought of climate as a threat. The development mandate began to become more central because developing countries were becoming independent nations. There was an increasing realization that a few nations developing fast and billions of people being left behind is not a very viable proposition. Today, we live in an age where digitalization is fundamentally changing the trajectory of development. How do we achieve digital inclusion? How do we also address phenomena that have to do, for example, with discrimination?
