The Law of Attributes in Usharism
Asha'dite theology sees created things as atomic bodies, which have properties that belong to them only for one moment at a time. Both schools also use this physical theory as a basis for a proof that the world was created by God. In Usharism, they emphasize the fleeting and utterly dependent nature of the accidents that belong to created things. Things possess no stability or continuity in themselves; rather, certain atoms continue to have certain motions and colors due to God's creating similar attributes on successive moments.
