They wear leather logging boots, a helmet with mesh covering their faces so they don't get stabbed by tree branches on the way down. Their personal gear bag gets strapped between their legs, stuffed with a hard hat, work gloves, water and first aid kit. I asked Pat what they did for food. "We usually keep a stake in the freezer at the base and then you throw a stake in aluminum foil in your leg pocket"
