If you have a routine, it can really help to alleviate some of what feels like just chaos with raising children. But i also believe in agility. If i'm following a routine three out of five days, i would celebrate that as a win. For instance, i really value my sleep. And so then came an important thing for my kids. I didn't want them to have a challenge with this throughout their lives. So i wanted to have as much routine around that so that i could hopefully get sleep.
