How Climate Change Could Increase Extinction Risk?
There is much more uncertainty about how other things will change. This makes for a very small chance that climate model uncertainty means things could be radically worse. As a result, it's extremely unlikely – we'd guess less than one in a million chance – that we'll see the temperature changes necessary for climate change too directly lead to extinction.
