matthew 13 55 explicitly gives us four brothers of the lord, james, joseph, simon, judas. In english, generally speaking, when we hear brothers, we think of uterin brothers, right? That's what we think. And so brother, even in english, has a witer mysomantic range. The idiom became so popular jewish culture called uncles, nephews, cousins, everybody was brother - and it is still common today. There is no word for cousin in hebrew and aramaic. This is an important point to understand. You normally would find either a circumlocution usedand it's kind of awkward. But
