Introduction
Hayden Delfield is a research associate and academic project manager at the University of Cambridge's Center for the Study of existential risk also known as Cesar. His primary research is on the security implications of artificial intelligence. Shin Shin Hwa who unfortunately could not be here with us today but who is Hayden's co-author on all the work that today's talk is based on. So in this talk I'm going to explain or make an argument for why we think competition law is so important as a lever, as a tool,. both in the near term and in the longer term.
