Pharaoh Promises

A lot of the compositions on my last two albums repeat over the course of like a four or five minute track. I generally think of composition in my quartet setting as taking one idea and just like you know reinterpreting it within the course of the piece so and I feel like promises is an even more distilled example of that. Pharaoh just gets like gets to like soar over it and I just like thinking of the way that it improvised in band context with other bands.
