Dronacharya and Kripa
Dronacharya is sometimes difficult to distinguish from Kripa, because both are brahman's that are skilled at weapons. Both were born only of a father. Drona was put under the caravaguru, who taught him the art of war. He had a fellow student named Drupada, who was the crown prince of the kingdom of Panchala. As children, they were close friends, and Drupada told Drona that when he became king, Drona should enjoy the riches of the kingdom together as friends. But after being rebuffed by his friend, Drono left for Hastinapur where he trained Arjuna.
