How Do You Know if You Have a Baso Spasm?
We monitor pervase spasm by completing what we call transcranial doplers, or t c ds. These are ultra sound that a very skilled technician completes at the bed m and they measure the velocity of the inter cranial cerebral arteries. So simply, you know, as the Velocity of the intecerebral arteries increases, then the risk that that vessel is narrowing is very, very high. But just because the velocity's increase does not mean that the patient is at danger.
