When did you realize that human beings weren't thought about, when you thought about the economy? When did it occur to you that it just wasn't enough to consider everybody as a rational agent? Well, I must say I had some doubts when I was a graduate student. And then I started what I called my list of weird behavior people do. That was sort of his career as a misbehaving economist.
