Is Five to Six the New 20?
The 1970s was the completion of the deleveraging from 40 years previously. We were, I want to say somewhere between 1.3 and 1.5 times debt to GDP globally. Take the debt today and call it four, four and a half, multiply it by five. You're kind of at the same time, maybe that's proportional. So I think- Could I suggest this? Sure. Proposters. My stock and traders are upside down, but maybe five or six percent is the new 20.
