Is There a Trend in Front End Development?

In a standard, monolithic system, you might call that more of a turnkey approach. Whereas it sounds like te de coupled content management system, you're going to be putting the pieces together and making decisions of your own. So is there a general industry shift in this diret on, or maybe is it momentum just in certain pockets? And if so, kind of what's driving tis this movement? There is definitely a industry wide shift. I would say one of them is speed to market. The second one, i think, is the availability of ple to actually do the front end development.
