The Antisocial Thesis in Queer Studies

In queer studies there is an established legacy of critical negativity, which you refer to as the antisocial thesis. This legacy has received quite a bit of what I would say is legitimate criticism. And so my hope is that tripped negativity offers something of an addendum to theantisocial thesis. It once acknowledges the value, the necessary value of sitting with bad feelings but also embraces the fact that different people feel different bad feelings.
