A step zero one is learning the sounds and building blocks of the accent that we want to acquire. So for me, i use the great course that is called 'the sounds of english by b b c learning English' It's a lovely course, available free on line, on you to and i think it's about forty episodes,. There we learn about the phonetic alphabet - er, about the building blocks, the sounds. And this was, er, very, er useful. I used to listen to, er, listen to this course, and just repeat these sounds. My mamma thought i was crazy and i was wasting my time at that point. But really,
