What's the Point of a General Strike?

i think people want to do the thing, which is to all have the glorious general strike that like, overthrows capitalism or whatever. And sometimes it means just get the union and in the door in the first place. The biggest barrier to any of the stuff is just getting people to believe that collective action is possible,. and th t ca get you wins, and then making sure that you take your time  and understand that there's going to be losses but in the grand scheme of things, don't make a mistake.
