Pentecostal theology creates two tiers of Christians, Miller says. The gifts for Corinthians 12 are to unify us, Ephesians 4: "Be eager to maintain the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace" It's an interesting dynamic because you can't be a pastor or a missionary if you don't speak in tongues and then the Baptist had a different rule off and on depending on whether they kept reforming. If you feel called the ministry, you know, you're doing evangelism, you're winning souls but it's not something that was pertinent in my tradition.
