The Principle of Plenitude
I think that they are historically and philosophically you know completely intertwined well let's delve into these narratives then. Let's say with the default was before all of these discoveries were made so you talk about this principle of plenitude that you kind of had in these pre-modern times about how we thought about destruction and extinction and the like. I can't stress enough how much this was just a fundamental incredibly strong intuition for people for centuries but now it seems very strange to us living in the 21st century.
