How to Deal With Impulsive Spending in ADHD
Impulsivity is one of the three main diagnostic columns of ADHD. Adults with ADHD are not great at impulse control, sometimes called cognitive inhibition of impulse. It's a good time of year to talk about this because January sales have morphed into December sales and black Friday sales. You're going to get reward from shopping, and the impulsivity to do that more or less whenever you want becomes available to you. We'll go on to some personal reflections in part two before moving on for top tips.
