When you need to get a lot of pins off, like a multi pin through whole part, one of the horrible ways to do it is to just drag a pool of sodder on there and go back and forth. And so when you whack it, molten sodder goes everywhere, including on your hundred % wool german house shoes. The nice thing about, you know, wool felt is that it's super not heat conductive, and it didn't burn through and scorch my foot,. Like apparently it did with some other people's examples here, where they got sotern burns through a pair of jeans or whatever.
