The Dark Memories of a Punk Rocker

In the 80s, you couldn't walk down the streets of L.A. and not trip over duffel bags of heroin. When I'm in Washington, D.C., I get all emo about some gig I saw in that building which is now a mini university. The only analog relationship I have with this city is KCOW's radio show. And for me, LA becomes a real village when I worked at the weekly newspaper where people were reading every week.
