Judges 19: The End of the World

Jim Boulden: These are bleak, dark, hopeless chapters as we conclude the book. The author of Judges has saved the worst for last. We're meant to see this as kind of the climactic display of Israel's wickedness here at the end of the book. So though this may be chronologically last in the book as it relates to the last chapter, it may not be chronologically in the history of the area of Judges.
