The mongols relied on raiding weaker tribes, riding horses from a very young age. All this kind of pseudo scientific racism that we associate with the end of the nineteenth century ind the early twentieth century can maybe be traced to some of that. But is there something that' maybe worth holding on too, about the idea that there is such a thing as a national characteristic? I think now it's much more likely that you you disssemble those things and say, well, i'lg, i'll gve you a good example. So let's talk about the mongols in that sense, right? Rigt.
