The purpose of this is to enable those end users, whether it's SREs, developers, etcetera, to be able to operate fully self-service. It's like get out of the shadow IT where folks feel like they need to go swipe a credit card because that's how they can move quickly. And then from an operator's perspective, back to you as the administrator, your job is to keep them running.
Adam was out when Bryan made his podcast debut here on The Changelog, so we had to get him back on the show along with his co-founder and CEO Steve Tuck to discuss Silicon Valley (the TV show), all things Oxide, homelab possibilities, bringing the power of the cloud on prem, and more.
