The Role of Women in the Revolution

I think Layla's one of the most striking points about Layla's review of Mary is to do with women's role in the revolution as it were. There are some very deep questions about what female time and male time looked like which probably can't really get into now. I think there are many women in particular questioning things like whether the sexual revolution which is now 60 years old was actually beneficial for women even though it's often presented with this sort of feminist or faux feminist sheen. And I think Mary's provocation in talking about something like reactionary feminism which seems like a contradiction in terms is a deep provocationReally on all of these sort of questions about how men and women should relate to
