The Gay Community and Its Sense of Humour

Sherry Reynolds was on the very first episode of Lorne Michaels' new show, The Larry Sanders Show. She says she and co-star Molly McCormick were trying to connect with a gay audience who had been through similar struggles in their lives. But they didn't think it would be funny if there were two older women taking over at the same time. 'It's just less people going for it and being self,' she said.
