What Are the Properties of the Electron and the Quark?

If you take seriously that everything in both your life and in the world is made of these elementary particles that have only mathematical properties, then it starts to sound a little bit less ridiculous. We should know now that we don't have a perfect understanding of particle physics. And quantum theory doesn't quite mesh with general lativity. This is certainly not to say we have all the answers. Absolutely not. It's just that when you have a way of meshing philosophy, epistemology, mathematics, computation and all these other things, it allows you to error more easily if you're not an expert in these subjects.
