When I was 14, my mother wanted us out of the house. And so we had to get volunteer jobs. So I went straight to the state psychiatric hospital and worked there for two years. Great training. It wasn't like, oh, you're going to help these people make paper flowers. They need this orderly call then sick. That's an education for a good community. But if my parents said you need to concentrate on school, I wouldn't have spent my dishwashing time studying. ...I just think it's really important for teenagers to work. I think it's important for them to serve me."
