Is Interest Rates Going to Rise Again?
The Congressional Budget Office last May said, we're already going to have interest costs hit the highest share of GDP in American history in 10 years. We're going to be spending more on interest than on defense for the first time in American history. That was in May. Think what's happened to interest rates since last May. They have rose a couple points since then. And so the next time CBO puts out their estimates, it's going to be ugly.
