The Best Two Player Games of All Time
flag capture was made by Jim Hoeather. He wanted to make a port of Stratego, the board game. That was clearly not happening on the 2600 hardware and 2 kilobytes of cartridge space. Warren Robinette's initial idea was that it would be like a road rage kind of game where you'd all be driving cars around with rocket launchers on the hoods.
