The optimal sleeping temperature based on both research and experimentation appears to be about 64 to 66 degrees Fahrenheit. An Intellibed mattress that does not hold a lot of the body's heat remains relatively cool during the night of sleep. A hot, cold, contrast shower works very well to vasodilate and vasoconstrict the arteries and assist with sleep.
