The Potential of AI in Healthcare
There is no doubt that the opportunities for AI and healthcare are large. But we should take a moment to highlight some of the other big concerns people had about the use of AI in healthcare. In a recent Pew Research poll, 60% of people said they'd feel uncomfortable with their provider relying on AI in their healthcare. 70% of respondents said that racial and ethnic bias was a problem in healthcare. And half of that 70% said that AI in healthcare would make that bias worse or just keep it same.
