The Problem of Time in Quantum Mechanics

The problem of time and quantum gravity has been growing on for well over half a century, because most people are thinking in terms of standard quantum mechanics. There's a long history of trying to make sense of the will of the wave equation in quantum mechanics but it's still a very murky subject. It does look to me as if already just in standard quantum mechanics with the measurement problem and the lack of a clear sense of what is real. In quantum gravity, with this timeless formalism, you're in very murky territory because nothing seems to be happening. You know, standard quantum gravity with standard quantum mechanics, and it's extremely difficult to say anything sensible, but people try and bestow at
