The Feudal System in Europe
The rise of literalism, Christian literalism, was the death of the ancient world. It consciously said we're abolishing the gods of Rome and replacing them with this monotheistic system. And that is when feudalism in Europe came into existence, basically. So these keys are important not just to help us get out of a false mysticism, if you will, or a false sense of history, but also to see that we actually do have religion and law at the same time.
