The Northern Territory's Fracking Project

The Northern Territory is run by the federal government. It's like Alaska wasn't a state, but was run by a bunch of backward cowboys. The emissions from the Betalou Basin are going to be double all of Australia's domestic flights emissions since aviation was invented. So yeah, it's totally wild. That's a lot of emissions. And it's methane. There's no benefit to breathing it in. You don't get a funny voice. But despite that, the government has just bald-facedly gone. Yeah, they've met the recommendations. We're going to approve it.
