Nancy Curlin Barnet's Last Resting Place
In 18 31, nancy curlin barnet's life was cut short at the age of 39. She requested to be buried on a small hill overlooking the nearby sugar creek. Developers ripped through parts of indiana later on to create more roadways. But as they built out a plan to tear through the hill where nancy was buried, her grandson said, absolutely not. So instead of going through the hill, which they had initially planned, they instead built a road around it and put a concrete slab over the area where she is buried.
