The Importance of Name in Shamanism
Naming something is very very important and all of your cult sciences if you have the name of something you have power over the entity or the being or the person. The kind of stuff that came out around the 1500s and Europe under the guise of hermetic sciences has led to the present day of the new age which is a real chaotic mess. To be a proper traditional shaman you have to be born into it you have to have special training in memory for instance and you have to understand the sciences behind it. If they knew the name if they pronounced the curses on a person everyone believes in it because that was their religion basically.
