Is There a Way to Make a Warp Drive?

A study is trying to make progress on the stickiest part of the warp drive project. The bigger obstacle is that we've never seen anything with negative energy density before. We don't even know if that's possible to do in the universe. So it seems possible, but the question is how you would make it. There's this idea of a Casimir effect that might be able to do it.
