The Power of Conviction

CNN's John Defterios says he never took Harris' ideas seriously, but hopes they will be a wake up call to those who did. He argues that for all of us, our most deeply held convictions are in some way an expression of our relationship to power. And we need to try and put ourselves in a position where we can test the extent to which certain ideas that we hold reflect our own interests or reflect our relationship toPower.
