The Importance of Questioning Beliefs
The American populace at large probably got a bit complacent, not understanding the systems they're operating within. Complacency in hubris is why we find ourselves in this terrible situation that we do in the financial sector and the energy sector. I've been wrong so many times and unfortunately that led me to waste decades of my life working on the wrong problem. Of course, there's some bad actors but I think for the most part, people are well-intentioned. We need to shake them and we need to educate them.
