The Unbending Determination to Uphold British Rights and Interests

The British gave way over Venezuela with, you know, American pressure. They also gave way on the border of British Columbia and the United States. A lot of territory was given up there. The Alaskan border with Yukon and British Columbia doesn't make much sense that's because the British gave in. But they're perfectly capable and unbending determination is not what I would say.
