The Importance of Immortality
I think there's an open question for us about the usefulness of immortality. Would you actually want to live forever? And let's say with your uploaded brain on a new substrate, you don't even require sleep. So for 400 years, you're looking for ways to occupy yourself. Time can be painful. Is there a time when you say, okay, it's been 470 years. I am ready to wrap this up now.
