Gratitude, Shukur to Allah Sopanada

One of the tragedies of modernity is that despite us living in a time whereby no human being has ever possessed as much as we do to day. We've never experienced a time when people are more ungrateful for what they have than they are to day. Modernity is ingeneered to remind you of desires and appetites that you had in the past. It provokes them, and it even creates desires within you that you never thought you had. For this reason, society, these huge, mega corporations, are not interested in creating a society that is grateful to allah because contentment and gratitude means that you will not buy.
