Is Industrial Engineering a Bad Idea?

Industrial engineering would combine mechanical engineering with more hands on, like the process of how the cars get moved through an assembly line. So you'd still be involved with cars, and pray be very hands on. I think it's tough to get the gaming part in along with the out of things.
