Implementing a Cache in Ruby on Rails

I was first very curious to see how rec implemented its own built-in cache so this led me to explore the source code a bit and to discover the notion of steps that you can add. The data is really immutable so when you persist that you don't have a lot of state in it not at all actually you don't have pizza and stuff like that.
