The Importance of Giving Children the Opportunity to Practice Citizenship

If i am constructing my ideal education system, how would it be different from present day education? It would give children a lot of opportunity to work with others in order to identify problems that they see in the world and try to address them. We do not give children daily opportunity to practise citizenship, and we should. Every child is going to grow up to be an American citizen. And so it's essential that we give children the opportunity, in fact, to practise skills of citizenship.
