The Impact of Section 230 on User-Generated Content

Facebook could be convinced that, hey, this regulatory apparatus that you want to construct, this actually helps us relative to competitors. When we're looking at potential changes to something like Section 230, I think it's important to recognize how much of the internet involves user-generated content. What's also important to remember though is that these platforms are private actors and they themselves have their own First Amendment rights around the content that they decide to carry.
